Search Engine Optimization Results

Most firms that provide web design services (including "creatives" like ad agencies and marketing firms), claim to provide search engine optimization.  But do they deliver results?

To learn how we can help your business achieve similar search engine placement, please see our Search Engine Optimization Service page.

Here's proof that we deliver on search engine results

We're #1 when Googling "WEB DESIGN" phrases

If you Google any of the following phrases, you'll see that ZolMedia is listed #1 (sometimes #2 also!)*

Remember, the competitors we're beating on those phrases are fellow web design firms - businesses that should be putting up a good fight.

We're also #1 when Googling "AD AGENCY" phrases

But, as those old infomercials say, "Wait, there's more!" Many ad agencies & marketing firms also offer web design services, though they tend to use high-brow, fancy euphemisms like "new media" or "interactive." But if you Google the phrases for their industry, our ancillary pages that discuss ad agency topics are listed #1, beating their entire websites!

Google these ad agency-related phrases, and you'll see that ZolMedia is listed #1*

Now, we don't provide traditional advertising services (they're a very different "animal" than website design & marketing), so it's telling that a few of our pages are beating their entire websites.

Why the emphasis on Google? Because, among the big 3 search engines (Google, MSN, and Yahoo),  Google is the "800-pound gorilla." That's partly because they have the greatest number of users. What's more, studies have shown that Google users spend more time, on average, than MSN or Yahoo users searching the Internet. Also, Google tends to be the pioneer in search engine technology. So a web site that does well in Google today is likely to do well in MSN and Yahoo tomorrow.
Note: That Google is #1 and has the most dedicated users might be true when this was written, but search engines are an extremely competitive market. Who knows what advances MSN and Yahoo will make on Google tomorrow?

*Caveat time: While we are #1 in Google for these phrases as of 3/21/2008 (and have been #1 for a good long time), the search engine world is an ever changing landscape. Google may change their techniques tomorrow, 2 months from now, or a year from now in a way that temporarily changes our ranking. If they do, we'll definitely modify our site to get back to the top, but it's not unusual to see search engine rankings jump around as they make changes to how they work.
